Top Ten Date-Producing Countries, 2001

These are the top ten date-producing countries and their annual production in tonnes, 2001. Those countries are Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and the UAE.
This bar graph shows date-producers, of those countries. Firstly comes Egypt which had the highest annual production which was approximately 1,100,000 tonnes. Iran is second and it produced 850,000 tonnes. Next, comes the UAE which is in the third place and that had 750,000 tonnes. After that, was Saudi Arabia with less than 750,000 tonnes. Next was Iraq with 650,000 tonnes. After that were 4 countries with similar production which were less than 400,000 tonnes. Libya is the lowest country which produced 100,000 tonnes.
Egypt produced the most dates in 2001. It produced as much as Algeria, Libya, Oman, and Sudan combined. There 4 countries produced less than half a million each. . Each of the other 6 countries produced over half a million each.
